The Carnton Flying Eagle Collection is tied for honors as the FINEST all time Flying Eagle Collection at PCGS. It only contains five coins, but they are all outstanding.

The 1856 is the S3 and is graded MS-65. This coin last sold for $100,000 back in 2005. It is one of the finest there is.

The 1857 is a beautiful MS-66 and has been in the collection since 1996.

The 1858 Large Letters is outstanding as well and has been in the collection since 1996.

The 1858 Small Letters is a MS-66 as well and has been in the collection since 1996.

The 1858/7 is a very rare early die state and is graded MS-65. It is likely the finest known example.

This collection was sold at the FUN show for nearly $250,000.
